Ever wonder why most, if not all of us can never live the life we like or want? I am not talking about outrageous requests or dreams like living in a palace or anything like that... but just doing and living the way we enjoy... why can't we be pleased with whatever we are doing now.. is it just the insatiable desire in humans that make us unhappy? It's really a thin line between fighting for what we want and being obsessed with something that isn't possible. One is a positive way of living whereas the latter is mentally unhealthy. How far do we go before we say: OK, I don't think this dream is possible, I have to reset my objectives. Give in and work for something more achievable?
Thinking about this over and over again simply gives no sure answer. Maybe we just have to keep on believing and fighting for what we want and never give up.. because some say in life.. there are certain things that you would even throw your life at it... to retain that possibility of what you want happening...
I feel that it is also not wrong to give up... but with the condition that you can live with it that you have given up and not regret... something like you have given your best.. although you did not succeed... no one, even yourself, can blame you... so if you know that you will regret giving up then I guess you should continue to strive for it... but bear in mind that it will not be easy.. good things never come easy... people may say that you are crazy to waste your time.. but I think they said the same thing when Edison was making his 1000th trial for the light bulb... and he only got it right at close to 4000 attempts?? As long as you are mentally healthy about it.. just do it!!!
